We're going to the chapel...and four of the group are getting married!

So our brilliant, beautiful, friend Brooke had the glorious idea that we should throw a bridal shower for the four girls in our group that are engaged and getting married in the summer. She planned the menu with a little help from Caitlin and delegated the gifts and games to some of the other girls. The menu included curry chicken croissant sandwiches, raspberry salad, fruit pizza, chocolate cake, and blondies with vanilla ice cream and maple syrup. Caitlin and Brooke started cooking at 7:15 Tuesday morning, and I came down to help after my run in the park. We ran around the kitchen trying to figure out the industrial oven and converting Celsius to Fahrenheit and grams to ounces. Cooking in the UK isn't as easy as one would think, or cooking for 40 people for that matter. But we turned on our iTunes and got down to business. After only one mishap, me breaking one of the chocolate cakes while attempting to get it out of the pan, we were ready to rumble. The shower turned out perfectly with lots of fun activities, including name that love song, and compare your fiance to Brandt, the one boy on study abroad with us. We also had a blast embarrassing the brides to be with lingerie from our favorite store, Primark. Overall, it had to have been the best bridal shower the BYU London Centre has held within its walls.
